Through hosting events and serving as a pipeline for information, we are creating opportunities to engage with and support the art form of dance.
OUR STORY
The Indy Dance Council was formed out of a passion to unite and share ALL of the amazing dance that happens here in Indy, both within the dancing community and with the audience who supports it.
In an ever-changing world, dance remains a commonality and a through line across cultures and populations, all over the world. It is one physical human language that we use to share, to mourn, to celebrate, to express ourselves, and to tell our stories.
After countless conversations with dancing friends, peers, and supporters we collectively decided that a place and a way needed to exist to get together and to get the word out:
